Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom is rallying support for Dreams FC ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinals second leg clash against Zamalek.

The Still Believe lads are gearing up for the crucial second leg to be staged at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Sunday, having held the 2019 Champions to a pulsating goalless draw at the Cairo International Stadium last Sunday.

The Ghana FA Cup holders will now go into the return leg with the advantage having secured an important away draw.

Inkoom, speaking on Maakye Sports before the game, urged Ghanaian football enthusiasts to rally behind Dreams FC in their quest for victory against Zamalek.

"This is the time Ghanaians have to support Dreams FC," Inkoom told Maakye Sports, acknowledging the significance of the occasion.

"They should stay calm, and be positive, and I think they can get the results." He emphasized the importance of mindset in facing a formidable opponent like Zamalek and expressed confidence that they could achieve success with the right approach.

Meanwhile, the former Asante Kotoko defender has expressed optimism about Dreams FC’s ability to beat Zamalek in the cagy encounter.

"Zamalek can be beaten. They can lose but all will depend on the mindset they take to the game." He added.

Dreams FC are unbeaten at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Confederation Cup and will aim to upset the Egyptian outfit this weekend to book a historic qualification to the finals.
