The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Mauritian referee Ahmad Imtehaz Heerallal to handle the CAF Confederation Cup game between Dreams FC and Club Africain from Tunisia.

The Still Believe lads will play host to the Tunisian outfit on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Heerallal, a 41-year old FIFA referee, will be assisted by compatriots Ram Babajee (Assistant I), Aswet Teeluck (Assistant II), and Patrice Milazar (Fourth Official). Sanusi Mohammed from Nigeria has been appointed as Match Commissioner.

Paulo Jorge Pereira Marques from South Africa will serve as Referee Assessor with Ebou Faye from The Gambia and Okey Sylvanus Sylvanus Obi from Nigeria working as General Coordinator and Security Officer respectively.

Dreams FC are second in Group C but are tied on 9 points with Club Africain. A win for the Ghana FA Cup champions could propel them to secure qualification to the next stage of the competition.
