Caleb Ekuban features in Trabzonspor's draw against Alanyaspor

Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban featured for Trabzonspor in their 2-2 stalemate against Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Monday.

Ekuban, who was shown a yellow lasted the entire duration of the game as his side secured a vital point with both teams getting a man sent off.

Trabzonspor took the lead in the 7th minute of the game through Abdulkadir Omur.

Former Newcastle striker Cisse went on to equalise for Alanyaspor in added time of the first half with the assist from Fabrice N’Sakala.

The visitors restored their lead six minutes after the restart with Omur turning provider for Filip Novak before Tasos Bakasetas made it 2-2 in the 90th minute.

Trabzonspor’s Majid Hosseini was sent off after receiving a straight red card for a foul in the 79th minute while DR Congo left-back N’Sakala got his own marching orders four minutes later for a second booking.

Trabzonspor are now second on the league log with 57 points after 28 matched played thus far.

Ekuban has made 27 appearances in all competitions for Trabzonspor, scored nine goals and provided nine assists this season.
