Carlo Ancelotti says that the international break will provide an opportunity for a 'fresh start' at Bayern Munich after a blip in form, but insists that he is 'not worried' by his side's current fortunes.

Bayern had won the first eight games in all competitionsunder Ancelotti, but were beaten 1-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League last month. They also showed a lapse in league form recently, drawing 1-1 at home to Cologne in theirlast match.

But the boss is not phased, putting the poor form of late down to the team's busy schedule at the start of the season. He also said he will be looking to wipe the slate clean after the international break.

Speaking toLa Gazzetta dello Sport, Ancelotti said:"We can trace the dip in form all the way back to the start of the season and the sheer weight of games we had to play.

"We couldn't call on all our players and we paid the price for it in the last two games.

"I'm not worried. We need a fresh start after the international break."

Ancelotti has achieved success with Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain as well as Real Madrid, and went on to praise the level that Guardiola had left the German club at.

He also insisted that although winning the Champions League was an aim of theirs, it is not the be-all and end-all.

He laudedGuardiola for"passing on a lot of knowledge to the players and giving Bayern a sureness to their play.

"I don't find coaching difficult," he added."It's the same at Bayern as it is at other clubs. It's another experience.

"Winning the Champions League is one of our targets but it isn't a must-win."
