Coach Ricardo Da Rocha names attacking team for Akonangui Clash; Brazilian Marco Silver set to mark debut

Head Coach for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Ricardo Da Rocha has named an attacking team to face Akonangui in the first leg of his side’s first-round fixture in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The manager has decided to go with a 4-3-3 formation with Brazilian forward Marco Silver forming a dangerous attacking trio with Mark Agyekum and Shafiu Mumuni.

The Ghanaian club is playing as guests to their counterpart from Equatorial Guinea but looks determined to return home with good results to ensure they get a better chance of qualifying to the next round of the competition.

Former Ghana youth star James Akaminko gets to start with exciting winger Mark Agyekum expected to be the creative force in the attacking third.

The tough clash will kick off at 15:00GMT at the Ebebiyin Stadium
