Congolese defender Gilbani O’Neil Ndongani Samba calls for unwavering support from Kotoko fans

Congolese defender Gilbani O’Neil Ndongani Samba has called for an unwavering support from Asante Kotoko fans after joining the club.

The highly-rated defender completed his move to the Porcupine Warriors last week and is expected to play a huge role for the club in the upcoming season.

He penned a two-year contract with the Ghanaian giants, keeping him at the club until 2026.

Speaking to the club’s media, Samba asserted he is not in Ghana to joke as he aims to achieve great things with Kotoko.

He has therefore called on the fans to rally behind him so he excel for the Ghanaian giants.

“I want the supporters of the club to push me so I can give my best for the team. I’m here not to joke. I’m here to achieve something big with the club so I just want the fans to push me and I will let them enjoy” he said.

The highly-rated defender has already commenced training with Asante Kotoko as the team gear up for the Democracy Cup on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

Ndongani becomes the fourth signing of Asante Kotoko in the off-season, joining new recruits Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi, and Yoouef Yagoub.
