Democracy Cup: We’ll invite Kotoko after the game – Aboubakar Ouattara confident of Hearts of Oak’s success
Hearts of Oak tactician Aboubakar Ouattara is confident about his outfit chances ahead of their game against Asante Kotoko.
The much-anticipated game between the two most glamourous clubs in the country is set for Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium. The game will kick off at 6pm.
This match commemorates 30 years of Democratic practice in the West Africa country.
“We are playing Democracy Cup and I’m a Democrat just like Hearts of Oak board members and everyone. We’ve taken this game serious. We always want to win trophies when we see them. We are well prepared and focused for the game.
“Asante Kotoko are our friends and they know how we do it when it comes to Cup games. We will invite them after the game” he said.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko recorded a back to back wins over Hearts of Oak during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
Before the game, parliamentarians and former Black Stars players will compete at the same venue as part of the activities to thrill fans.
