Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has attributed their inability to score against Zamalek in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup to a lack of focus.

The Ghanaian side was defeated 3-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday afternoon, following a goalless draw in the first leg against the Egyptian giants.

In a post-match interview, Zito expressed pride in his team's performance despite the defeat. He stated, "When you look at the first half, the chances we missed, we went back, and our attitude seemed to decline. I believe it was a lack of focus that denied us a goal."

Zito acknowledged the inexperience of his team compared to Zamalek, but commended his players for their efforts. "Nobody thought we would reach this far, and I am very, very happy. Yes, we met an experienced team, and this is how it goes. We are young boys, but we will learn from this experience," he added.

Despite the setback, Zito remains optimistic about the team's future, expressing confidence that they will perform better when they face another experienced team in the future. "Next time we come in, we know how to go about it," he concluded.
