Dreams FC coach Karim Zito has expressed unwavering confidence in his team's abilities, despite being drawn against Malian giants Stade Malien in the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

The draw was conducted officially in Cairo on Tuesday, 12 March, and the Ghana Premier League side will face off against the Malian powerhouse in the next stage of the competition.

Zito, who has been instrumental in guiding Dreams FC to this stage, is not influenced by the reputation of their opponents.

"It is a team that is very well known in Africa during their time they are not a bad side they are also very good in Mali," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com.

"I remember playing them with King Faisal and it ended in a draw in Sunyani. They are into serious academy issues there that is what I know about them.

"Sometimes you may choose a club and that club will end up been a problem for you. Now names doesn't matter most in football today or else like who are Dreams FC,"

The first leg of the match will be played in Mali, with the second leg scheduled at the Baba Yara Stadium in Ghana.
