Dreams FC denies leaking stadium budget for Zamalek Match, Ameenu Shardow speaks out

Dreams FC's General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has vehemently denied allegations that the club leaked the stadium budget for their upcoming match against Egyptian giants, Zamalek.

The budget in question, amounting to 36,000 Ghana cedis, was reportedly revealed on social media, leading to accusations from the Ashanti Region National Sports Authority (NSA) PRO that Dreams FC was responsible for the leak.

The second leg of the CAF Confederations Cup is set to take place at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday, April 28, following a goalless draw in the first leg in Cairo.

Shardow, in an interview with Peace FM monitored by Footballghana.com, expressed his strong disapproval of the allegations. He stated that the budget circulating on social media did not originate from any of Dreams FC's official handles.

He also highlighted the club's history of collaboration with the NSA, including instances where they have played at NSA-approved stadiums when their home ground in Dawu was not suitable for football.

"I take serious exception to the allegation coming from the NSA PRO," Shardow said.

"If she can't back up or substantiate what she is saying, it should be totally disregarded," he added.
