Dreams FC will be hoping to make it three wins in a row on Monday when they welcome defending champions Aduana Stars to the Theatre of Dreams, Dawu for their match day nine Ghana Premier League fixture.

The game promises a lot of fireworks considering the fact that, Dreams FC are on a winning streak whilst Aduana Stars are fresh from qualifying for the 2018 CAF Confederations Cup group stage although they lost their away fixture 2-1 to FOSA Juniors in Madagascar.

Both teams have met three times with the Brong Ahafo team winning twice and losing once. Dreams FC’s heaviest defeat ever in top level football was a 4-0 score line suffered in the hands of Aduana Stars on May 8, 2016 with Yahaya Mohammed getting a brace that day.

The game, which will be coach Karim Zito’s last at the helm of affairs as he prepares to take up his Technical Director role, will see Dreams FC going all out in an attacking setup with inform striker, Zuberu Sharani and Eric Gawu as the two marks men.

Skipper, Leonard Owusu who has already won two man of the match awards will operate behind them to provide the needed arsenals as they seek to record another win. It will also be interesting to see how Dreams FC’s cracked defence made up of talented Massawudu Abdallah and Issah Yakubu and others contain an Aduana Stars Attack comprising of Yaya Mohammed, Nathaniel Asamoah, and Bright Agyei, who have almost scored twenty goals between them in all competitions this season.

The midfield battle will also see Zakaria Mumuni, Noah Martey and Sam Adams battling the likes of Leonard Owusu, Kwadwo Asamoah, George Dwubeng and Maxwell Arthur for supremacy.

Aduana Stars have already lost to WAFA and drew with Elmina Sharks in two of their away games this season. They could suffer another defeat in the hands of a Dreams FC team which has proved to be unyielding by scoring two 93rd minute goals to win games this season.

One man who can also decide the game on his own is the goal poacher, Zuberu Sharani who has been clinical upfront for Dreams by scoring four goals in eight games. Anokye Badu and Paul Aidoo will have a real headache dealing with his pace and power.

In terms of experience at the bench, Karim Zito is ahead of his Aduana Stars compatriot, coach Yussif Abubakar and his technical and tactical efficiency could also decide the game. It is going to be a very lively game but looking at the last two games Dreams FC have played, they have character and stand a better chance of defeating the visitors if the can eschew complacency and play to the final minute.
