Dreams FC’s Abdul Aziz Issah lightening Premier league with stunning statistics

The Ghana Premier League for many years, have lacked an exciting and wonderful player to grace the competition. However, one has been spotted and guess what? he's just 18-years but already shown his prowess.

Abdul Aziz Issah attained 18 in December 2023 and plies his trade with Dreams FC in the Ghanaian top-flight. The ongoing 2023-24 league season marks his second season with Dreams FC following his promotion from Still Believe, their Youth team.

After studying from the bench and not getting enough game time last season. Abdul Aziz has become a gold jewelry for the Dawu based outfit.

He's recoded some scintillating figures in the ongoing campaign, scoring 9 goals already including three free-kick goals. He's currently considered the most informed attacking midfielder in all competitions as far as 2023-24 league season is concerned. Aziz has meticulously made a name for himself, becoming a household name in Ghana despite a teen age.

Many asked for his inclusion to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast by Chris Hughton due to the level of professional football exhibited and brilliant attacking profile shown as attacking midfielder.

Having enjoyed a splendid season under manager Abdul Karim Zito with stupendous form and high level of football, his last 7 games in all competitions thus CAF Confederation Cup, MTN FA Cup and Premier league has being exceptional.

He's registered 6 goals with two assist in the domestic league thus 8 goals involvement so far.

And has 3 goals in his last two matches after scoring a brace against Bofoakwa Tano and one in their 2-0 triumph over Kpando Hearts of Lions FC.

He has a unique skill when it comes to set-pieces. He has added free-kicks to his qualities as he's exhibited severally, his ability to turn half a chance to a goal from a set-piece being a corner kick or free-kick.

Aziz has three (3) free-kick goals to his credit already, with two in the Premier League and one in the CAF Confederation Cup. Scored the only goal in Kumasi when the Still Believe side silenced former Premier league champions Asante Kotoko SC at the Baba Yara Stadium. He netted a stunning free-kick in the first half to snatch away all points for his side.

And did same against Aduana Stars FC after replicating same feet against APC Lobito in the CAF Confederation Cup.

With three goals and one assist in 6 CAF Confederation Cup games, the wonder-kid is considered the most informed attacking midfielder currently in the league and the second most influential player in Dreams FC setup behind striker John Antwi.

Aziz's numbers look enigmatic and impressive for every young Ghanaian footballer hoping to make a mark and achieve a milestone in his career.
