The Phobians suffered a 2-0 defeat against The Royals at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu during Matchday 27.

Albert Yeboah scored a brace in the second half to secure the three points for Legon Cities.

Disappointed fans expressed their frustration after the match, and Ouattara, in a post-match confrontation, addressed their concerns about the team’s recent poor performance.

Approaching the disgruntled supporters, Ouattara appealed for patience and understanding, highlighting the limited resources at his disposal.

"These are the materials I have. I do not have any players anywhere else so I have to work with them. So be patient and hear me out,” he implored.

However, what perhaps resonated with many was Ouattara’s revelation about the team’s pre-match conditions.

“Yesterday at the hotel, we did not have electricity or water,” he disclosed, shedding light on the challenges faced by the team even before stepping onto the pitch.

With the loss, Hearts have only managed to gain three points from their last five games. Sitting in 11th place with 35 points, they are five points clear of the relegation zone.

Hearts of Oak will aim to bounce back when they face Accra Lions in the Matchday 28 games at the Accra Sports Stadium.
