Eddie Nketiah cameos as Arsenal thrash Norwich City

English-born striker of Ghanaian descent, Edward Nketia was in action for Arsenal in their 4-0 win over Norwich City in the Premier League on Wednesday.

Nketia came off the bench in the 76th minute to replace Alexandre Lacazette as the Gunners sealed a comfortable victory at the Emirates stadium.

Norwich goalkeeper Krul lost possession to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on the edge of his own penalty area for Arsenal's opener in the 33rd minute as Gabon forward whipped the ball from his feet to score.

Aubameyang then turned provider for Granit Xhaka to sweep home before Aubameyang added another after a mistake by Josip Drmic.

Cedric Soares completed the rout in the 81st minute after the substitute scored from outside the penalty area a few seconds after coming on for his Gunners debut.

The win moved Arsenal to 7th on the league table with 46 points, eight points behind 4th placed Chelsea who lost to West Ham at the London stadium.

Nketia has made nine league appearances and scored two goals for Arsenal since returning from his loan spell at Leeds United in January.
