Eight first team players will be sold- Bechem United CEO

Nana Kwesi Darlington, the Chief Executive Officer of Bechem United, has revealed that eight starters in the current team's setup will be shipped out.

The Hunters players are now without a league competition to play after the Ghana Football Association announced the cancellation of the Ghana Premier League on June 30.

The competition was initially suspended in mid-March, leaving clubs like Bechem in a big financial ordeal. With that as a problem and with no league to play for, the management have decided to let some players go.

Darlington stated on Nhyira FM that the outgoing players will be replaced by youth team players.

“Again, eight of our first eleven players will be sold out after this COVID-19 pandemic. We will replace them with our junior team players.”

Bechem were 8th on the league log before the competition's truncation.
