Elfsborg tie down Ghana midfielder Michael Baidoo with new contract

Swedish top-flight football club, Elfsborg, has sealed a contract extension with their dynamic midfielder, Michael Baidoo, extending his tenure through the 2027 season.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian has been a standout performer for the Yellow and Blacks since his arrival in January 2022 from Norwegian outfit Sandnes Ulf. With two explosive seasons under his belt, Baidoo has solidified his position as a key player for Elfsborg.

In an official statement released on Saturday, Elfsborg expressed their delight, stating, "IF Elfsborg is pleased to announce that the club, together with Michael Baidoo, has reached an agreement on a contract extension. Baidoo's European journey began in 2017 when he made the leap from Vision FC to Danish side Midtjylland, marking the start of his promising career abroad.
