Elizabeth Addo's women tournament to kick of on 15 December
Black Queens Captain Elizabeth addo has organised a women football tournament which will take place on the 15 of December 2019 at the St. Thomas Aquinas Park.
The Tournament which is aimed at empowering women football consist of police ladies, immigration ladies, Ridge City Fc, Ideal Ladies FC,Sea lions FC and Rock Ladies FC.
The 26-year-old forward was nominated among CAF best women award after a remarkable season in the Chinese top-flight where she scored three goals in fourteen games to ensure Jiangsu Sunning win the league championship.
she said, "I want to empower young ladies not to give up on their dreams, they should stay focused and dedicated to their profession. one day they will also make it. this is my way of giving back to the society and helping female footballers to achieve their aim."
Ama Pele had a humble beginning in Ghana with Tesano ladies in 2006 before traveling outside Ghana to continue her career
