French-born defender of Ghanaian descent, Enock Kwateng has started training with his Girondins de Bordeaux teammates as they commence training for the next season.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, the French Ligue 1, Ligue 2, and all the various leagues were ended prematurely with clubs leading the pile being announced as champions.

With the French government gradually easing restrictions in the European country, clubs in the top-flight are starting to return to training.

This week, Girondins de Bordeaux started work at their training grounds with Ghanaian international Enock Kwarteng joining in.

At the team’s training grounds today, a total of 19 players were present as they followed strict safety protocols.

The former Nantes man was impressive this season as he made 19 appearances and provided 2 assists.

All players have been tested for the Covid-19 disease, and subsequent tests will be conducted to ensure all players are protected.
