RC Lens General Manager Arnaud Pouille expressed his satisfaction and support for Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Samed Salis, following the extension of his contract with the club.

Salis, who joined Lens last summer from Clermont Foot on a five-year deal, has now committed to an additional year, extending his stay at the club until 2028.

"Extending Salis made perfect sense. It is a symbol that illustrates our approach of making the first announcement that of a form of continuity. Congratulations Salis and can't wait to see you compete in continental games!" Pouille enthusiastically stated.

Pouille's comments reflect the club's strong belief in Salis' abilities and the importance of maintaining a stable and cohesive team.

The 23-year-old midfielder had an impressive debut campaign with Lens, contributing significantly to the team's achievements.

Salis played a pivotal role in Lens' qualification for the UEFA Champions League next season, making 33 appearances in Ligue 1 and scoring a goal along the way.
