Footballghana.com can report that captain and goalkeeper for Kumasi Asante Kotoko Felix Annan has undergone a successful scan on his ankle injury as he awaits assessment on the severity of the injury.

The Black Stars goalkeeper sustained the injury while training with the club and has since been ruled out of action.

Following a successful scan, the player and the club have now been directed to wait for Doctors to examine the results to ascertain the degree of damage the ankle has suffered.

In an interview on the Kotoko Express App, team nurse Andrew Owusu Amankwah has shared, “Felix Annan has had a scan and the result came a few days ago”.

He continued, “We are studying the report to know the degree of his injury and how long it will take him to recover fully. We cannot be definite at the moment but would in a few days time when we are done with our assessment. It will be a conjecture if someone either than us put a time frame on his return.”

The Porcupine Warriors are hoping it will be nothing serious in order for Annan to recover in time before the start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
