Ghana's place in the most recent FIFA Rankings has suffered a setback after their recent performances during the March international break.

Facing off against Nigeria's Super Eagles and Uganda's Cranes, the Black Stars, led by Otto Addo, experienced a 2-1 loss against the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) runners-up and settled for a 2-2 draw with the Cranes.

Previously positioned at 67th globally, Ghana has now slipped to 68th in the rankings. The United Arab Emirates has overtaken Ghana in the standings.

Despite enduring a seven-game winless streak, Ghana maintains its position as the 14th team in Africa, as indicated by the previous release of the CAF rankings.

The top 15 African teams remain consistent, with Morocco, Senegal, and Nigeria leading the way.

Looking ahead, the Black Stars will strive to bolster their rankings as they prepare to take on Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR) in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers scheduled for June.
