Former Hearts of Oak skipper Jonathan Oti Ankrah ‘Joe Dakota’ laid to rest

Former Ghana and Hearts of Oak captain Jonathan Oti Ankrah ‘Joe Dakota’ has been laid to rest in Maryland in the United States of America on Friday 17th April 2020.

Joe Dakota passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2020, due to kidney problem.

He featured for the Phobians during the late 70s and early 80s where he helped the side to win several titles.

The defender was buried on Friday 17th April with few families and friends because of restrictions on social gatherings following the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.

He went to the United States after ending his playing career at Hearts of Oak.
