Franck Ribéry Reveals He Doesn't Regard Antoine Griezmann as a World Class Player

Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery has claimed that he doesn't see fellow countryman,Euro 2016 golden boot and player of the tournamentwinner, Antoine Griezmann as a world class player... yet.

It's unusual tosee players from the same nation taking somewhat of a dig at another fellow compatriot, usually we see themdefending and supporting each other.

However, while speaking toBild, reported via AS,the French winger has revealed Griezmann is yet to earn his way as one of the world's most elite players despite the Atletico Madrid star's impressive goal-scoring record.

The 25-year-old has hit half a century of goals in as little as 71 starts with the Madrid-based side following his 2014 summer arrival from Real Sociedad.

Griezmann is currently the top scorer in the La Liga and was a finalist in the 2015/16 best player in Europe award, in addition to the accolades he won in Euro 2016, and is attracting plenty of admirers from across the continent.

However, one of those admirers isn't Frank Ribery who believes he hasn't consistently showed his ability, andsaid:"He's not a world-class player yet, because he still hasn't repeated his level of performance consistently over time."

The 33-year-old's comments are very similar of those he made in 2015 when his club were linked with a potential move for the French ace. He said back then:"There's no doubt he's playing well for Atletico, but Bayern are on another level."

Which Ribery may haveregrettedsaying after thefact Atletico Madrid knocked that Bayern Munich side out of the Champions League in the semi's in the 2015/16 season and once again in this years group stages.
