Board Member of Hearts of Oak Frank Nelson has dismissed claims that Ghana Football Association is crisis following the sacking of George Afriyie.

The Liberty Professionals director was relieved off as the Ghana FA vice president on Tuesday, claims emerged that the nation's football governing body is in crisis.

But Frank Nelson, who doubles as an Executive Committee member of the Ghana FA, has rubbished the suggestions during an interview on Asempa FM.

"I will debunk the fact that the FA is in crisis, I believe we have capable hands to stare the affairs of Ghana Football.

"The President announced his displeasure to continue working with his Vice, it is not something you can contest because it is an appointed position and not voted for.

"If he Kwesi Nyantakyi says he does not want to work with George Afriyie there is nothing that can be done about it", he added.

The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi has agreed to appoint a new Vice for the GFA after the Association relieved George Afriyie of his duties as his vice.
