The Ghana U17 national team will take on the Niger U17 national team in a friendly match on Thursday, May 9.
This has been confirmed by a statement from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The friendly match has been scheduled to help the Black Starlets prepare for the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.
“The Black Starlets will, on Thursday, take on their Nigerien counterparts in a friendly game as they wrap up their preparations for the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.
“This will be the last preparatory game for the Black Starlets ahead of the WAFU U17 Championship which kicks off on May 15, 2024,” the Ghana FA statement said.
The friendly match between Ghana and Niger tomorrow will kick off at 15:30 GMT at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After the game, the Black Starlets will gear up for the start of the WAFU Zone B U17 Championship.
Ghana is in Group A of the tournament and will face off with Benin and Ivory Coast.
Group B has Nigeria, Togo and Burkina Faso.
