Ghana forward Dennis Tetteh scores to power Slavia Mozyr to victory against FC Smolevichi

Ghana forward, Dennis Tetteh has powered his Slavia Mozyr side to pick up 3 points on the back of an important 2-1 win against FC Smolevichi this afternoon.

A pulsating match day 14 fixture at the Yunost Stadium remained goalless at the end of the first 45 minutes with both teams squandering the few opportunities that came their way.

In the second half, Slavia Mozyr manager introduced Dennis Tetteh into the game to replace Aleksandr Kotlyarov. The Ghanaian international had an instant impact and combined with his teammates to take the lead on the 50th-minute courtesy a strike from Maksym Slyusar.

Just 2 minutes later, the away team scored a goal of their own to draw level when Aleksey Vakulich registered his name on the score sheet with as an assist from Aleksandr Dzhigero.

With the home team furious, they instantly made amends to restore their lead while piling pressure on FC Smolevichi.

Eventually, after 3 minutes of letting in that goal, Slavia Mozry scored again to make it 2-1. This time around, it was the halftime substitute Dennis Tetteh who found the back of the net with a fine strike.

At the end of the day, the match eventually ended with Slavia winning 2-1 to ensure they picked up the maximum points at their backyard.

This was Dennis Tetteh's 8th appearance of the season and he now has 1 goal and 1 assist as well.
