Ghana international goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi has hailed St Gallen’s teammates for their overall performance following their triumph over FC Zurich in the Swiss Super League.

The Black Stars goalkeeper played the entire 90 minutes for St Gallen and kept a clean sheet at the Stadion Letzigrund on Sunday.

Ati-Zigi delivered an outstanding performance in post to propel his outfit to secure a narrow win over their opponent.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net.

France international Willem Geubbels emerged as a hero after firing home the match-winner in the 79th minute to hand his side the three maximum points in the game.

After the game, the Ghanaian shot stopper took to social media to eulogize his teammates for their amazing performance.

“+3 blessed be your name Lord. What an amazing team performance. Big ups to the fans for their wonderful support” he wrote on Instagram.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper has made 32 appearances in the Swiss Super League this season.

Meanwhile, compatriot Daniel Afriyie Barnieh made cameo appearance for FC Zurich as they succumbed to defeat on home turf.
