Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey helps Arsenal to beat Luton 2-0 to stay in title race

Ghana international, Thomas Partey started for Arsenal on Wednesday evening in the team’s 2-0 victory over Luton Town in the English Premier League.

It is the first starting role for the midfielder after his lengthy injury layoff that saw him missing the Black Stars squad for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Ivory Coast.

Today, Thomas Partey looked sharp and fit as he put in a good shift to help Arsenal bag all three crucial points to stay in the race to win the English Premier League title.

In the game played at Emirates Stadium, Luton Town put up a fight but it was not enough to merit any point from the Round 31 contest.

Thanks to a strike from Martin Odegaard and an own goal by Daiki Hashioko, all in the first half, Arsenal cruised to the victory to earn the victory.

After his return to the Arsenal starting eleven, Thomas Partey will be aiming to help his team in the remaining games of the league season.
