Ghana international Thomas Teye Partey made a brief appearance to mark his debut in the UEFA Champions League for Arsenal in their quarterfinal first leg game against Bayern Munich.

The Black Stars midfielder made substitute appearance as the Gunners and the German giants settled for a draw at the Emirate Stadium on Tuesday night.

Partey was introduced in the 86th minute mark, replacing Kai Havertz as the Gunners fought back to snatch a 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich.

The former Atletico Madrid star played a huge role when Arsenal secured qualification back to the European top-flight competition after seven year absence after finishing among the top four team at the end of the 2022/23 season.

Partey, who has been battling injuries finally made his debut for Arsenal in the Champions League against Bayern Munich.

Despite cameo appearances, the Ghana international added some value to the midfield of Arsenal as they settled for a draw.

The English giants opened the scoring through Bukayo Saka after just 12 minutes into the game before their former player, Serge Gnabry pulled parity for the visitors.

England captain Harry Kane converted from the spot to put Bayern in front but Arsenal found the back of the net through Leandro Trossard to restore parity as the game ended in a draw
