Ghana Premier League: Quality of materials at Hearts of Oak and results don’t match – Opare Addo

The Communication Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, says the quality of materials at the club and the results the team is grinding on the pitch don’t match.

He believes the club should be winning more matches than they are doing at the moment.

The Phobians have endured a terrible run of form throughout the season, languishing in the bottom half of the table for large parts of the season.

Hearts of Oak are currently 13th on the league table with 35 points, just three points away from the relegation zone.

“The second round has not gone pretty well for us, but if you sit back and you look at where we're coming from, from the pre-season and the first round, what we went through, you'll see that the second round has been a bit better than the first round,” he told StarTimes.

“But in all of that, we still believe so much that we still have to improve. If you look at the quality of materials that we have and the results that we've gotten along the line, it doesn't match very well.

Hearts of Oak will next take on Berekum Chelsea on Wednesday.
