Ghana target Kobbie Mainoo set to be named in England U21 squad for upcoming March assignment

England-born midfielder of Ghanaian descent, Kobbie Mainoo will reportedly be named in the England U21 squad for their upcoming games in the March international break.

The Manchester United youngster has been a key man for his team in the ongoing 2023/24 football season.

As a result, there are calls for his inclusion in the Three Lions of England squad for the March international break.

Although England manager Gareth Southgate is a big fan of Kobbie Mainoo, it is understood that he will not be rushed.

Instead, sources say Kobbie Mainoo will be eased through a process before eventually being made a part of the England squad.

Several reports are indicating that the midfielder will be part of the England U21 squad this month.

He will be drafted for the first time to help the England U21 in games against Luxemburg and Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo is a target of the Ghana FA to play for the Black Stars.
