The head coach for the Ghana U-20 team, Karim Zito says his team is unfazed ahead of their opening match in the CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament despite the tough opponents in Group C.

Nicknamed the Black Satellites, the Ghana U-20 team will play their first match of this year’s tournament on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

For coach Karim Zito, his team indeed will need to be at their best to sail out of the group due to the quality of the opposition.

He is, however, confident of his team’s chances and says they will take it one match at a time.

“Though we have three zonal Champions in the group, for us, winning the first game is very important because it will give the players the motivation to push further in subsequent matches. We are taking each game at a time,” coach Karim Zito said in a pre-match interview to the Tanzania match.

That encounter has been scheduled to be played at the Nouadhibou Municipal stadium.
