Ghana winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku hails Leicester City’s win over Birmingham City

Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has hailed his Leicester City’s amazing performance against Birmingham City in the English Championship.

Issahaku delivered a Man of the Match performance to lead Leicester City to victory at St Andrews over Birmingham City.

The 19-year-old provided two assists in the 3-2 victory as the Foxes maintained their place at the top of the Championship table.

After the game, the on-loan Sporting CP attacker took to social media to express his joy following his outfit triumph over Birmingham City.

“Amazing performance lads we keep going thanks to the fans for your amazing support 👊🏾💙🔥🙏🏾” he wrote on X

In a spirited performance, Issahaku showcased his creative ability as he set up Stephy Mavididi to score the opener for Leicester City after just ten minutes.

Four minutes later, Birmingham equalised with a strike from Jordan James to restore parity to the game.

Later in the 21st minute, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku did his thing again as he assisted Kiernan Dewsbury-hall to also score to give the visitors a 2-1 lead to take into the second half.

After recess, goals from Stephy Mavididi and Jordan James cancelled out as Leicester City secured a 3-2 victory at the end of the 90 minutes.

Issahaku is enjoying a good time in the Championship with Leicester, scoring two goals and providing five assists in 18 matches.
