German-born Ghanaian defender Dennis Duah signed with SG Dynamo Dresden this summer and weeks later, the 20-year-old is still delighted about his professional debut.

Duah, who previously played for FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV youth teams, shared his journey and aspirations with Tag24.

"This is a big club," Duah enthused. He revealed that initial contact was made in the winter, with serious discussions happening in March and April. "I was really happy because Dynamo is such a big club. I've seen their games in the 2nd Bundesliga, and now I'm here. I just wanted to go to Dynamo, no matter what league!"

Duah is aware of the competition in central defense but is eager to take it on. "Dynamo fought for promotion until the end, and I want to contribute to making the next attempt more successful," he stated. With 72 appearances in the Regionalliga Nord, Duah is ready to bring his experience and passion to help SG Dynamo Dresden excel.
