Irish-born Ghanaian defender James Abankwah received a red card in Udinese Primavera's crushing 4-0 defeat against AC Milan Primavera in the Primavera 1 season opener.

AC Milan started their campaign in emphatic style, dismantling newly-promoted Udinese with a dominant performance.

The game remained goalless for the first half-hour before Maximilian Ibrahimović broke the deadlock, converting a chance created by Bonomi. Ibrahimović then secured a brace by converting a penalty in stoppage time, putting AC Milan two up.

Udinese's hopes of a comeback were dashed when Abankwah received his second yellow card, reducing his side to ten men. AC Milan capitalized on their numerical advantage, managing the game expertly. Ibrahimović completed his debut brace, and despite Perera's near-miss in the 71st minute, Perin sealed the victory with a late fourth goal, assisted by Cappelletti.

Coach Guidi's AC Milan Primavera side showed impressive form and will look to continue their momentum when they face Torino on Monday, August 26, at the PUMA House of Football.
