Ghanaian defender Nana Kwame Boakye has officially joined FC Sheriff, marking his first professional contract.

Boakye, who has spent his entire youth career in Ghana, most recently honed his skills at the Ghana National Football Academy. He has also represented Ghana's U-20 national team, making six appearances.

The 20-time Moldovan champions, FC Sheriff, expressed their excitement about the new addition. "The team of FC Sheriff is pleased to welcome Kwame and wishes him good luck in the T-shirt of our club," stated the club.

Boakye made his first substitute appearance on Thursday, July 11, in a Europa League qualifier match against FC Zira. However, he did not get the chance to make his debut as Sheriff suffered a 1-0 loss.

Nana Kwame Boakye is expected to further develop his skills with FC Sheriff and contribute to the team's success in the league. The club and its fans are eagerly anticipating his impact on the field.
