Ghanaian forward Hudson-Odoi set to sign five-year contract extension worth £52m

Ghana and Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to a five-year contract extension worth £52million.

Hudson-Odoi resumed first-team training this week after sustaining an Achilles injury on April 22 after against Burnley.

The Blues are in advanced negotiations with the 18-year-old as the club hope to keep the highly-rated youngster for unforeseeable future.

Bayern Munich expressed interest in signing the forward in January after tabling bids of up to £35million turned down.

However, Hudson-Odoi looks set to stay at Stamford Bridge after Lampard gave him first-team assurances for the 2019/20 season.

He will sign an incredible £200,000-a-week contract in the coming days.

But after taking part in training with the Under-23s in recent weeks, he has now teamed up with the first team once again at Cobham.
