Dutch-born Ghanaian striker, Myron Boadu, scored the lone goal as FC Twente secured a 1-0 home win over Heracles Almelo in the Eredivisie.

The match-winning goal came ten minutes into the second half at the De Grolsch Veste, with Boadu skillfully curling the ball past goalkeeper Brouwer after receiving it in the box.

The goal, Boadu's third of the season in his eighth appearance for FC Twente, was a confirmation of his growing influence in the team. Despite being substituted in the 58th minute due to an injury, Boadu's performance was enough to earn him the Man of the Match award.

FC Twente continued to press forward after Boadu's goal, with substitute Michel Vlap coming close to extending their lead. However, his free kick and long shot both narrowly missed the Heracles goal.

Boadu's match stats were impressive, with 14 touches, 3 accurate passes (75.0%), one successful dribble, and 2 shots on target in his 58 minutes on the pitch.

FC Twente is in third place on the Eredivisie league table.
