Ghanaian forward Patrick Agyemang delivered an outstanding performance to help Charlotte FC beat Columbus Crew in the Major League Soccer.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian attacker was called to action when his outfit cruised to a 2-0 win over their opponent at the Bank of America Stadium.

Putting on a stellar performance, Agyemang scored one of his sides goals as they secured maximum points in the thrilling encounter at the weekend.

The first half of the game ended in a pulsating goalless draw, as both teams struggled to find the back of the net in the much-anticipated clash.

But Charlotte FC uplifted their performance to beat Columbus Crew on home turf in the second half.

Ashley Westwood opened the scoring for Charlotte FC in the 83rd minute mark before the Ghanaian international sealed victory in the 88th minute.

Agyemang lasted the entire duration as he grabbed his first goal of the campaign.

Yaw Yeboah, another Ghanaian in the game, lasted only 45 minutes and was replaced by Yevhen Cheberko in the second half.
