Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko secure signing of defender Emmanuel Boahen from Nations FC

Ghana Premier League powerhouse Asante Kotoko have completed the signing of Emmanuel Boahen in the ongoing transfer window.

The highly-rated right-back is joining the Ghanaian giants from fellow Premier League side Nations FC.

Boahen, who was a standout performer for Nations FC is expected to play a huge role for the Porcupine Warriors in the upcoming campaign.

The defender has put pen to paper and could be unveiled in the coming days.

The former Eleven Wonders defender made 30 appearances for Nations FC, who finished seventh in the recently concluded season.

He registered eight assists out of the 30 games and won also won two Man of the Match award as Nations FC exceled in their maiden league season.

Following a disappointing performance last term, the Ghanaian giants has stormed the transfer market to sign quality players to augment their squad for the new season.

Kotoko recently parted ways with 21 players to make way for new addition. So far, the Porcupine Warriors have signed four players.
