Ghanaian international, Bernard Morrison has picked up a devastating injury that is set to keep him out of action for a very long time.

In a statement from his Moroccan club AS FAR Rabat, it said the attacking midfielder has suffered a cruciate ligament tear.

He picked up the injury during training ahead of the team’s league match against Wydad.

The injury is expected to keep Bernard Morrison sidelined for at least the next six months.

The player has already undergone an MRI scan and will undergo surgery in the coming days.

Following his injury, AS FAR Rabat will miss the services of Bernard Morrison on Tuesday when the team faces Wydad in the top clash of the Moroccan league.

The Ghanaian midfielder in the past played for Tanzania's Simba, South Africa's Orlando Pirates, Congolese Mazembe, and Motema Pembe.

Before that, he was the star man for Ghanaian outfit, Ashanti Gold SC.
