Ghanaian players abroad: Andre Ayew, Jeffrey Schlupp score as Mohammed Kudus provides assist

It was one of the best weekends for Ghanaian players abroad as many of them put up big performances for their clubs.

Andre Ayew and Jeffrey Sclupp were among players to find the back of the net while Mohammed Kudus provided an assist.

Premier League round 35

Mohammed Kudus provided his fifth assist of the season as West Ham played out a 2-2 draw against Liverpool at the London Stadium.

Jeffrey Schlupp came off the bench to score a blinder for Crystal Palace against Fulham, earning them a 1-1 draw. Jordan Ayew started the game and put in a decent shift.

Jordan Amissah was not in the squad that lost heavily to Newcastle United, confirming Sheffield United’s relegation. Amisaah was part of the squad only six times, without playing a single game.

Thomas Partey started and played the entire game for Arsenal as they edged Tottenham 3-2 to keep their Premier League title hopes alive.

LaLiga round 33

Baba Iddrisu was an unused substitute for Almeria as they lost 3-1 at home to Getafe, confirming their relegation. He featured in 24 games, majority of them coming off the bench.

Inaki Williams played 81 minutes for Athletic Club as they lost 3-1 to Atletico Madrid. His brother Nico Williams was racially abused in this game and also scored the consolation goal.

Serie A round 34

Emmanuel Gyasi played the entire game for Empoli as they lost 2-0 to Lazio.

Alfred Duncan played the entire game for Fiorentina as they crushed Sassuolo 5-1.

Ibrahim Sulemana and Caleb Ekuban will face off on Monday when Cagliari played away at Genoa.

Bundesliga round 31

Jamiel Leweling was taken off after 90 minutes as his Stuttgart team drew 2-2 against champions Bayer Leverkusen.Jeremie Frimpong played 89 minutes in that game for Leverkusen.

French Ligue 1 round 31

Andre Ayew scored his fourth goal of the season for Le Havre as they held PSG to a 3-3 draw at the Parc des Prince.

Grejohn Kyei provided an assist in Clermont Foot’s 4-1 win over Reims, giving Clermont a glimmer of hope that they can survive relegation.

Nathaniel Adjei played the entire game for Lorient as they lost 2-1 against Toulouse and remain in the relegation zone.

Ernest Nuamah played over an hour for Lyon as they beat Monaco 3-2 to hand PSG the Ligue 1 title. Mohammed Salisu was brought on in the second half for Monaco.

Belgium Pro League championship playoff

Abu Francis put in a decent shift for Cercle Brugge as they drew 1-1 with leaders Anderlecht. Majeed Ashimeru and Francis Amuzu were brought on after the hour mark for Anderlecht.

Kamal Sowah played one of his best games for Standard Liege in a very long time as they drew 1-1 against St. Truiden. Kelvin Yeboah was also decent for Liege.
