Ghanaian players abroad: Inaki Williams fires Athletic Club to victory as Andre Ayew and Caleb Ekuban also score

Ghanaian players abroad were again back in action over the weekend putting up big performances for their clubs in the big leagues.

Inaki Williams scored twice to power Athletic Club to victory while Andre Ayew and Caleb Ekuban also scored for their clubs.

Premier League round 36

Thomas Partey played the full ninety minutes for Arsenal for the third game in a row as they beat Bournemouth 3-0. Antoine Semenyo was unlucky to have a goal disallowed in that game for Bournemouth.

Mohammed Kudus completed a season-high 13 dribbles against Chelsea as his West Ham team lost 5-0 at the Stamford Bridge.

LaLiga round 34

Inaki Williams scored a brace to power Athletic Club to a 2-0 win over Getafe, with his brother Nico assisting both goals. Inaki now has 11 goals this season.

Abdul Mumin played the entire game for Rayo Vallecano as they suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Almeria. Baba Iddrisu was a late substitute for Almeria.

Serie A round 35

Ibrahim Sulemana was brought on after half time to help Cagliari get a 1-1 draw against Lecce.

Alfred Duncan played 62 minutes for Fiorentina as they lost 2-1 at Hellas Verona.

Caleb Ekuban scored a towering header for Genoa as they held AC Milan to a 3-3 draw. The goal was his fourth of the season in 26 games.

Bundesliga round 32

Christopher Antwi-Adjei was brought on after the hour mark as his Bochum side beat Union Berlin 4-3.

Jeremie Frimpong came off the bench to score for Leverkusen in their 5-1 win over Frankfurt. That was his 9th goal of the season.

French Ligue 1 round 32

Andre Ayew has now scored in back to back games after netting against Strasbourg in Le Havre’s 3-1 win. The Black Stars captain now has five goals in 17 appearances.

Mohammed Salisu was on the bench for Monaco in their 4-1 win over Clermont Foot.

Alidu Seidu played just over 60 minutes for Rennes in their 3-2 win over Metz.
