Ghanaian players abroad: Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo and Inaki Williams score in exciting weekend for Black Stars

Mohammed Kudus, Antoine Semenyo, and Inaki Williams all scored for their clubs in an exciting weekend for Ghanaian players abroad.

The weekend produced some exciting performances from Ghanaians in the top six leagues in Europe.

Premier League round 14

Mohammed Kudus scored his third Premier League goal in five starts for West Ham United as they drew 1-1 against Crystal Palace, a game that also had Jordan Ayew.

Antoine Semenyo also bagged his third league goal as Bournemouth drew 2-2 against Aston Villa.

Kobbie Mainoo again started for man United as they lost 1-0 to Newcastle United at the St. James’ Park.

Inaki Williams scored his seventh league goal of the season as Athletic Club hammered Abdul Mumin’s Rayo Vallecano 4-0.

Baba Idrissu was an unused substitute for Almeria as they drew goalless at home to real Betis.

Caleb Ekuban missed Genoa’s 1-1 draw against Empoli through injury.

Ibrahim Sulemana was subbed on for Cagliari in the 32nd minute as they lost 1-0 to Lazio.

Alfred Duncan lasted 64 minutes as Fiorentina won 3-0 against Salernitana.

Bundesliga round 13

Christopher Antwi-Antwi scored his first goal of the season as Bochum won 3-1 against Wolfsburg.

German-Ghanaian Benjamin Henrichs lasted the entire game as his side Leipzig won 2-1 against Heidenheim.

Jeremie Frimpong played the entire game for Bayer Leverkusen as they came from behind to draw 1-1 against Dortmund.

Patric Pfeiffer was unused substitute for Ausburg as they won 2-1 against Frankfurt.

French Ligue 1 round 14

Ernest Nuamah provided an assist as Lyon slumped to a 3-2 defeat to Salis Abdul Samed’s Lens.

Andre Ayew missed Le Havre’s 2-0 defeat to PSG because of his red card while Mohammed Salisu appeared on the team sheet of Monaco for the first time in their 2-0 win over Montpellier.

Belgium Pro League round 16

Joseph Paintsil provided his fourth assist of the season as his side Genk were held to a 2-2 draw by Gent.

Majeed Ashimeru made a substitute appearance for Anderlecht in their 3-1 win over Westerlo.
