Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris among top ten most expensive transfers in Ligue 1
Ghanaian striker Majeed Waris has been rated among the top ten most expensive transfers in Ligue 1.
Waris joined Strasbourg from FC Porto for a reported €2m on a two-year deal in January.
The 28-year-old has been a key cog of the team before the 2019/20 season was canceled due to coronavirus pandemic.
The Ghana international made seven appearances and scored two goals as Le Racing finished in 10th position having amassed 38 points.
He also won two Man of the Match awards.
Waris has previously featured for Valenciennes, Nantes and Lorient in Ligue 1.
