Ghana’s inability to compete in youth football due to laziness - Abeiku Quansah
Former Ghana youth sensation Abeiku Quansah has attributed the country's recent failures in youth competitions to the laziness exhibited by upcoming footballers.
Ghana's dominance in the youth level has declined over the years after the country won its last trophy at the U-20 level in Egypt.
In an interview with Kyfilla, the former OGC Nice winger asserted Ghana has been unable to compete in youth football because young footballers prioritize social media to their career, hence the decline of youth of youth football.
“Ghana’s inability to qualify for youth tournaments is due to the fact that most young players of today are very lazy, they spend their precious time abusing social media instead of focusing on training.”

Abeiku Quansah was an integral member of the Ghana U-17 team squad that participated in the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
He played six matches in the tournament in Korea Republic, and was part of the Black Satellites squad that won for the 2009 African Youth Championship in Rwanda.
