German-born Ghanaian international Kwasi Okyere Wriedt scored twice for his Bayern Munich II over the weekend but unfortunately, it was not enough as they suffered a 3-2 defeat at the hands of Duisburg.

He has been in a decent form since the start of the 2019/2020 lower-division campaign and was handed a starting role for his club in their quest to upset the league leaders.

At the end of the 90 minutes, Kwasi Okyere Wriedt bagged a brace but it could not save his Bayern Munich II.

Duisburg who is currently topping the standings of the division scored three times through Tim Albutat, Vincent Vermeij, as well as Lukas Scepanik.

Kwasi Okyere Wriedt, 25, was outstanding in the match and has now scored as many as 12 league goals in the ongoing campaign.
