Gov’t begins steps to dissolve Ghana Football Association

The Government of Ghana has said it is taking steps to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.

A statement from Government indicated that Government was shocked after the revelations in Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest work, Number 12 and have decided to take stringent measures to ensure that Ghana Football is cleansed and given a good standing.

The statement said Government is taking immediate steps to dissolve the Football Association and will announce provisional measures to streamline activities at the FA.

It further indicated that the decision to dissolve the FA will be communicated to the Confederation of African Football and other stakeholders in the Football fraternity.
