Hearts, Kotoko London clash cancelled as new date set

Organizers of the Independence cup between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko have called off the game which was to be played in London on March 7, 2020, Footballghana.com can report.

According to the reports, the U.K embassy have rejected the visa applications of most Kumasi Asante Kotoko fans due to mistakes in the documents they filed.

The incident which nearly resulted in a riot between the Greater Accra Circles Chairman of Kotoko, Nana Kwame Danquah and the supporters was intervened by the security guards around.

The historic encounter between the two Ghanaian giants have however been rescheduled to May 9th, 2020.
