Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak are closing in on Ebusua Dwarfs captain Dennis Nkrumah Korsah as replacement for Congolese defender Raddy Ovouka.

According to reports, talks between Dennis Korsah and the Phobians have progressed well over the past few weeks and he's expected to put pen to paper in the ongoing transfer window.

Ovuoka, who has been instrumental for Hearts since joining the club unilaterally terminated his contract.

The Ebusua Dwarfs defender had a descent 2020/21 Ghana Premier League campaign despite the club suffering relegation at the end of the season.

He became a subject of interest for several clubs in the country including Asante Kotoko and Ashanti Gold SC.

The Phobians will be hoping to get the left-back to strengthen their squad as they push to defend the Ghana Premier League title.

Hearts of Oak are currently 9th on the league table with 13 points with two outstanding games following their participation in the CAF inter-club competitions.
